2 Immersion

The second English immersion at Jockey Park was so good. We played, told stories, participated in group works and we learned a lot! The teachers from Welcome Language Centre showed different and simple material that we can use that.

I just to congratulion the teachers that participate in immersions... I think they were so great to me and to the others students...The teachers from Welcome were so good, they gave a lots instructions and they taught another way to teach "funniestly".(i don't know if it is correct)Alessandra's workshop was so great!We had funny moments, because she's so interactive person...I just say thanks

Oh! The sangria, at Spanish lunch was so delicious, they Spanish students learned cook ery well!!!!!!

1 Immersion

The first English immersion was very good. We had a fun! We draw, played, wrote stories, did activities in groups and pairs. We talked, ran, sang and learned a lot of ways to learn and teach English!

The immersion is an oportunity to to speak more, to listen more, to write and communicate more in English. I think it shouldn't stop, because in an immersion you learn easily!!!!!!

Lesson planing and classroom management

Ivan's workshop was surprised!!!!! We learned about the lesson planing. He made simple questions and gave a lotof suggestions to made a good lesson planing.

Ivan said that it isn't have a formula to do it, but we have to follow a way to do!!

White boards software activities

This workshop was at Cultura Inglesa where we saw a classroomwith white-boards. Those boards acess the Internet to improuve the student's learning. It was so interesting because she told us that the technology is together with the teacher.

Using technology in the beyond the language classroom

Maria Pontes said that the teachers have a resistance to change when she said about technology. The teachers had to know how to use it, because the contemporany students have expectations, they need it nowadays. Iadored this workshop, it was very valious, because i know i need to learn it too.

Language and culture

Maria das Graças Miranda demostrated to us how the culture is together with the language.

The culture identifies the people, the costumes, the greetings. We did a play in her workshop and i think it is a good idea to show it to our students...

Oral, writing and pronunciation development

Leila's workshop was so important to us. She showed what the teachers shoul did. We had pay attention in the context.

She suggested to do dialouges, interwies, games, guessing, repetitions with our studentes to they learn easily!!!!! Leila gave a storie to we play (act)... Everybody had fun!!!!!!!!!!!
